Follow Route 130 South out of Damariscotta for 12 1/2 miles into New Harbor.  At the top of the hill in New Harbor there will be an ice cream shop right in front of you.  Bear right and take the immediate hard right hand turn before Hanna’s Garage/Gas Station.  If you pass the front of Hanna’s, you just missed the turn.  You will be on Snowball Hill Road.  Follow for 3/4 of a mile and turn left onto the Pemaquid Trail.  Go 1000’ on your left is Sherwood Forest Campsite.
